Fun for Nothin'

Meg from Sew Liberated has started a new Flickr group called Fun for Nothin'. The group is for parents who want to get away from the consumer culture or who are on a tight budget. Kids seem to have the most fun when they are able to use their imaginations and create something out of what we might just cast off. My niece once played for hours in her "dog house" made out of a large cardboard box bound for the trash. Even though she has lots of toys, Ava has tons of fun shaking boxes of macaroni and banging pots and pans together.
