Cafe Aprons and Pregnant Bellies

Cafe Apron with cute mitt pocket:

Yesterday I sewed this simple cafe apron using Lotta Jansdotter's book. It just wasn't working with my large pregnant belly. (I am wearing shorts in this picture, by the way.) Before R left for work this morning, I got him to model it for me:

It looks much better on him! I love that pocket, but it took forever to clip the edges to get it to lie flat for sewing. (Look at our yard! Those bare patches are left over from last summer's flood.) I am thinking of making more of these with patchwork pockets centered in the front for my craft show and shop. What do you think?

I also finished a special order of bibs for twin girls:

I've never had anyone actually order something from me before, so I hope she likes them!

I love the polka dot bibs! So cute. I think it's incredibly brave to post pictures of yourself while pregnant - my legs were so swollen I wouldn't have wanted to scare anyone! You obviously don't have that problem though and the apron is so cute with the calico print mitt pocket.
